Bay Bluffs Park Nature Preserve

Located just off of Scenic Highway in Pensacola, Florida, Bay Bluffs is a great destination for a family outing. Not only does the park have a plethora of nature trails and walking paths, but it also features a number of features including a small beach, covered pavilions, a golf course, and even a handful of boardwalks. In addition to the park's amenities, it also boasts an impressive view of the surrounding Escambia Bay. The park also offers something for every taste, from golf enthusiasts to beach bums. The park is free to the public, but fees may apply during peak seasons. Next article

The park is a 26-acre landscape that is made up of two main sections: the first is a natural meadow that contains a modest-sized beach. The other is a maintained park space that was made possible by a nearby condominium development. The park is a pleasant respite from the hustle and bustle of downtown Pensacola, and visitors can take in some of the city's most picturesque views. A small swimming area is also available.

The Park is located on the eastern side of US 90. While the park has undergone a few nips and tucks in recent years, the area remains a pristine oasis in the middle of a city that is otherwise quite congested. Moreover, the park is home to a fair share of retirees and middle-class families. The Park is also a popular location for picnics and barbecues. During the winter, the park's paved pathways are often lined with snowbirds, but during the summer months, the area becomes a hive of activity.

The park's most impressive feature is its large collection of trees and shrubs. The most notable specimens are the live oaks and Florida holly dominating the park's southern section. The park is also home to many pines, some of which are said to be over a hundred years old. Another of the park's many features is a large pond that provides a perfect spot for fishing. Click for more info

While the Bay Bluffs is not the most aesthetically pleasing place on Earth, it's still worth a visit. The park has two entrances: the Scenic Highway and Bayview Boulevard, located across the street from a large cemetery. The latter is the most obvious of the two, and the easiest way to get there is via a free shuttle Alternatively, the park is open seven days a week during the summer, but the best time to visit is early morning. If you visit the park during the middle of the night, be sure to check out the lights at night and the dazzling fireworks displayedduring the yearly Halloween festivities.

The park is well-maintained and the staff is helpful, but it's worth noting that the area isn't as well-kept as some other parks. Fortunately, there's a handy map of the trails and other area attractions at the front desk, and you'll be able to find the path that's right for you without a lot of trouble
